Payment for accommodation
A credit card number is required at the time of booking which will be passed on to the hotel to guarantee your booking. The hotel may deduct a one night deposit 30 days prior to arrival or they may charge you full payment at the time of check-out. If you wish the hotel to settle your account with a credit card of which you are not the signatory, you must provide written authority to the hotel to do so. If necessary, please download your hotel’s third party credit card authorisation form for Crowne Plaza Melbourne and The Holiday Inn Melbourne.
Changes to your accommodation booking
Please notify your requests for changes directly to the Meeting Secretariat via ascept-mpgpcr2016@expertevents.com.au
Cancellations
Cancellations must be advised in writing to the Meeting Secretariat. Please refer to the following page for each hotel’s individual cancellation policy and charges.

1. Crowne Plaza
1-5 Spencer Street
Located on the banks of the Yarra River, is a 4 ½ star hotel is opposite the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, just minutes from the central business district and close to some of Melbourne city’s most popular entertainment complexes, retail strips and food hubs. It features a heated outdoor pool, fitness centre, business lounge, a bar and a restaurant. Each room at Crowne Plaza Melbourne features large windows, a work desk with WiFi access, and a 32inch LCD TV, modern amenities and luxuries including a pillow menu and a aromatherapy kit.
Check-in is available from 2pm. Check out is by 11am.
Security bond: All guests will be asked to provide a credit card at check-in to guarantee payment of incidentals.
Credit card service fees: A merchant service fee of 3% for American Express, Diners & JCB and 1.5% for other cards, is in addition to the total amount payable.
Internet: complimentary WiFi
Parking: $47 per day valet parking
Payment policy: Guests are required to settle accommodation charges upon check out at the hotel. A credit card will be held on file for each guest to allow for any incidental charges.
Cancellation policy: Individual bookings cancelled thirty (30) to one (1) day prior and no shows will be charged a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the booking period.
2. Holiday Inn

The Holiday Inn Melbourne on Flinders provides 4 star quality, comfort and convenience. It is located in the Melbourne CBD within walking distance of the city’s main attractions, many of Melbourne’s sightseeing and cultural centres and the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The hotel features Sirocco Restaurant and Bar, a heated outdoor pool, mini gym and sauna. Public transport including metropolitan and VLine trains, the airport shuttle bus, trams and taxis operate from the doorstep.
Check-in is available from 2pm. Check out is by 11am.
Security bond: A credit card imprint OR a cash deposit of $100.00 per day to cover incidentals is required upon check-in. Any charges, including incidentals incurred during guest stay will be taken of this cash or debited from the credit card upon check-out.

Parking: $45 per day valet parking
Internet: Standard Wireless Internet service is free for all IHG® Rewards Club members, $19 for non members.
Payment policy: All accommodation costs will be paid individually in full by the guest upon check in/out. A credit card will be held on file for each guest to allow for any incidental charges.
